I am an ESOL teacher in the United States. I currently teach in a public elementary school with grades k-5, working primarily with grades 2 and 4. During my career, I have taught grades k-8. I have also been invited to Busan, S. Korea, twice to conduct teacher training programs on Content Based English Instruction Curriculum. I hold a Master of Science from the University of Tennessee in Foreign Language and ESL Education. I am licensed to teach PreK-12 ESOL and Middle Grades Language Arts in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Maryland.
I love teaching my students and creating new teaching materials to make learning exciting. Outside the classroom, I love spending time with my husband, traveling to other countries, learning new languages and camping. I have lived in Barcelona, Spain, and traveled to many other places. I speak fluent Spanish and conversational German in addition to my native English. I am also an author on the blog The Lesson Cloud, as well as founder and one of the authors of The Tower of Babel.
